Crucial saved my PC. I only had 512mb and was using virtual memory! I heard about crucial.com, which was highly recommended. I arranged for a scan as I had no idea what modules to get. I was promptly given a list of upgrade options. I ordered 1Gb DDR PC2700 [...]. I hastily ordered a second 1Gb module [...]! Fab. Instructions were included which were so easy to follow and hey presto I haven't looked back. My PC is like new. I like trying out lots of different programs so these modules have really excelled. Thanks again Crucial!!!

I have never opened up a PC before, but I found it easy to install the 2 x 1GB into the relevant slots, just took out the 256MB that was in there and added the two new ones, started it up and away I went. Was extremely nervous doing it, but I needn't have been. Brilliant

I use the memory in my Dell computer for greater peformance when authoring DVD's and of course writing letters and editing my digital or scanning in documents and pictures.

I found the memory very easy to install after opening my computer and placing my earthing wire on my wrist to make sure I had no static charge. Removed the existing memory modules and installed with ease the just arrived memory making sure it was seated and closed the clips. Closed the computer, then reconnected the mains switched on and booted up and the computer was in use again.

WE recently purchased several refurbished Dell Optiplex systems, simply because they were pre-installed with Windows XP Pro which is now virtually impossible to find on a new machine. Because the machines were 3 years old, the specification, particularly of the memory (256Mb) made them poor on performance. Adding the 1Gb memory sticks has enhanced the performance and brought them up to a similar level to all our other workstations.
