Mainly use product to increase performance of a dell laptop, Originally came with 1 gb to run vista wich any1 with half a brain knows aint gone work well. This sorted the problem, Much quicker load times and software opens much quicker.

Installation process is a breeze. Switch off the nbook and take out batt. Then take out the old ram and plug in the new one. Make sure they sit tight in the slots and clipped. Plug the batt back in and switch on the nbook. Vista will auto detects and DONE!

It's well known that increasing RAM will speed your machine, but the difference here was that I could do it at a value price and be confident that I was buying the right modules for my machine. Easiest upgrade that I'll ever do.

Now I have the maximum 2GB RAM, I no longer scream at my laptop!
My blood pressure is lower at start-up and closedown as it's so responsive.
It was a mini laptop that now has a Rolls Royce engine.

When I first saw the product advertised I thought it was a misprint, or the word "kit" would refer to the fact that if you bought it in conjunction with another one you could get upto 2GB in the machine. I was therefore pleasantly surprised that the product does include two memory modules of 1GB each to put into the laptop. I can't say if the product is easy to install as that will depend on your experience and the laptop you have bought the memory for. As an experienced PC user and techie I had no problems when installing my memory.

The memory wasn't the fastest technical spec i could find but it was certainly the best value for money. Because I was doubling my original memory in the machine it was inevitable that there was going to be a performance increase.

I was running Vista on my Dell Inspiron with 1GB RAM and this upgrade to 2GB has definitely improved performance. It is a well worthwhile investment as it saves me so much time thorugh not having to wait for apps to open / respond!
