Works well with no problems. Only thing was that it was a little pain to try and install them, but thats probably due to my computer being old. More force than should be required was needed to install them. Had to push rather hard for them to click in, but then again thats not an issue with the module, but the computer.

Great product, no doubt. But be warned: in the MacBook, in some cases, the power cable (a thin strip) pokes into the compartment where you must install the RAM. If you don't install the RAM firmly, it won't work. But if you install it firmly and the cable is there, you will tear the cable and cut off power to your computer, which is what happened to me (and, after researching online, I learned it's what happens to many).

Got Apple Care? Take the MacBook to the Genius Bar and let them do the installation for you. Even if you've installed RAM in scores of computers, trust me--I was in the same situation. The MacBook is quirky with RAM installation.

I installed my 4GB of ram excitedly, but found a few problems right off the bat. My computer would freeze up, and basically "melt down" on me. The screen image would become all blocky, so I'd have to restart. So after this happened...twice ? I went back into my machine and just changed the slots they were in ( 1->2 and 2->1). Been working perfectly since then ! No freeze ups ! And great performance ! I would certainly buy again.

This RAM remembers everything I ask it to, it's just great. Now that I have a full 4 Gigs in my MacBook, it's like having twice as much brainpower.

But seriously: with 2GB in my white Macbook, I got a lot of spinning beachballs, even for normal tasks like web browsing. 4GB nearly eliminates that and improves the speed of switching between apps greatly.

I bought the 4 gig pack and installed, computer recognized easily. I was a breeze to install, thanks to Mac really, crucial has nothing to do with it. I started my computer and and there was 0 speed change. I went to [...], told them what I did, and they installed a new 4 gigs and OMG blazing fast, they took the cost of my crucial ram off the price of their ram. So the moral here is buy quality, and you get what you pay for.

For under $80 I increased the speed and performance of my MacBook dramatically. GarageBand plays in realtime with no lag or errors with multiple live instrument tracks and vocals using tons of effects. It is fantastic!

I use it for web surfing, mail, messenger, keynote and iLife.. i upgraded from 1GB to 4GB and this made a huge difference in multi-tasking performance. I used to keep quitting programs that I use once awhile and then relaunch it due to insufficient RAM.. now I can just keep most of the programs that I use open..

I pumped my MacBook up from 1 GB to 4 GB. The result was an amazing increase in speed and responsiveness. I keep several applications open all the time during my work. With only 1 GB, my machine was slow to switch tasks or load dashboard wigits. Now they pop up the way they are supposed to. I am thrilled with the results.

Put simply, this website makes it extremely easy to get the correct RAM for your computer and not worry about it. I have now used Crucial memory on two of my laptops - my Toshiba Satellite and for my Macbook and it was easy find what I needed on the website, very inexpensive compared to other places, and easy to install. I will continue to use Crucial for my memory upgrades as long as the service doesn't change. Thank you!
