As with other reviewers only works with one memory stick installed. System will not boot if 2 sticks are installed even if using the original 512Mb stick as well

If you have an emachines 3048 like i do then it for some reason will only recognise one stick even if you mix it with the original 512mb one existing in it it will only recognise and use 1gb so although yes its doubled the ram i wasted money by buying two 1gb sticks maybe i sjhouldve bought a 2gb stick but no fault of the actual product, worked fine well easy to put in and essentially works :) great price too

Failed to work when installed as the matched pair, will only work with one piece + the original strip of one/half a gig. e-machines will not help and thus the other strip is just sitting in the draw.
