With no experience in installing hardware, I was up and running in mins. Just make sure that you firmly push the memory into place, that's the only mistake I made and as a consequence I had to take the back off and push harder. All well in the end though.

I have never had problems with my laptop but decided to speed up the performance by adding more RAM. Since I installed the RAM, the laptop doesn't always start-up properly and sometimes 'dies'. To solve the problem, I have to take the battery out and start-up again...not good when I'm under pressure at work.
I think I'm going to put the old RAM back and see how it goes.
Delivery was prompt and arrived in good condition.

Yes you can save [$]on a cheap DIMM, but why bother taking the risk?
