You've asked me for a review (several times), but it's pretty difficult to say anything much about a couple of memory chips - either they work or they don't, there's no half way house! These work fine, they are easy to install because of the design of my computer, not the chips, my computer runs faster, but you would expect that since I've doubled the memory size. So, it's good to see you care about your customers, but be realistic, there's not really a lot you can say in this case!

I'm no geek but it was a five minute job, the computer now seems to work a lot better.

To replace it was a matter of sliding the retaining clips off the old ram, pulling out the old circuit boards and reversing the process for the new ones.

I had to ditch the original memeory cards as the new RAM did work in synchro even though there were slots available in the computer case

Easy to do, I have never taken a cover off a computer before. Follow the instructions & make sure you are earthed to eliminate ststic. Took me about 15 minutes.

I use my computer for personal/family and small self-employed typesetting business, but computer now over 5 yrs old and needed more than the installed 1Gb RAM to keep up with newer software. The new mem cards worked first time and now with 3Gb RAM my computer is incredibly fast. I tell all my friends. What more can I say?

Faster start-up and shut -down times, fewer lags when processing larger files, I really don't know why I didn't do it sooner, yes I do! I didn't know about the crucial RAM checker, that tells you exactly what you have and what your options are for upgrading.
