When I received it, I put it in. It did not work as a complement to what I already had. So I replaced the one I did have (which worked fine), but then my old one did not work. I was offered no explanation.

I have no problem with the product, but rather the support I required for my product. After attempting live support, and then e-mail support, I have no received a reply back. It is also reaching my 30 days with which to resolve my issues with the product, and return it. So in this case, I guess I have to just return it, if I'm able, since there seems to be no resolving my issue.

I have purchased from Crucial literally dozens of times and referred many people through my own little side PC repair/service business. I will continue to do so, even though now I'm concerned, should I require support in the future.

Just a tip, always check your manual as to where memory is stored. Dell has one slot located on the bak of the Notebook and after gooing online to Dell, and searching for upgrade memory. I located the second slot under the keyboard, which has to be removed (carefully).
Now finally the upgrade is working great.
