My Satellite had become practically unusable with only 256 megs of ram. I considered purchasing a new laptop but thought I'd give a memory upgrade a try instead. I removed the installed 256 megs and installed 2 new 512 chips. The computer is way better now and has a new life. It's still no speed demon, but at least it's usable now, no more long delays or listening to the hard drive constantly running and swapping or having to cancel virus scans which had been stopping my machine in it's tracks. For internet browsing, word processing and running Quckbooks, it's fine now. [...]

His old laptop has some much "junk" on it, the load times were in minutes.... The memory upgrade was like buying a new laptop. It was an old satellite a10 with p4, 2.2 gig, that originally came with only 256k ram...lol. Load times are in seconds now!!

when we put the memory stick in the computer, the computer will not turn on if we take it out the computer works fine
we tried it in both slots with the other stick and alone and it will not work at all
please help me if we can make it work i will reccmmend it to my friends
