With the 256MB it originally came with, the HP Pavilion ze4900 was painfully slow, sometimes almost unusable. I replaced it with 2 512MB modules and the difference is dramatic. It works great now.

Highly recommended for anyone fed up with the poor out-of-the box performance of this laptop.

The memory works perfectly and greatly increased my aging laptop's performance. Be careful with the Memory Advisor tool, though. It told me I could take 2 GB, but HP's support site says my model has a 1 GB max.

I can just say great things about it. My family laptop was extremely slow. We never upgraded it, and its performance was at the minimum possible.The Laptop was a little outdated, and couldn't find the upgrade anywhere,until I found Crucial.com. It was really easy to install, following the instructional video offered by Crucial.com.Right after the installation the laptop performance it was at its pick, we can run several scans at the same time, and still be able to use any other software, and download from the internet at the same time, which was completely impossible before(We would be able to perform just one task at a time, and it would take the whole day!)
