I first thought that this site may be a little dodgy but i tried it and so glad i did , it scanned my pc and told me exactly what i required and how long , when the product came (within 3 days) it come with full instructions including diagrams . it was so easy to fit and the speed on my daughters pc is now great , i would definately suggest using this site to my friends.

I used this product to boost a 7 year old computer. It was very easy to install and it worked like a charm. The service is great and I absolutely love this website. It's very easy to use, so you always got the right match for your computer.
The only negative point is that the tracking system didn't work for me (but thats not crucials fault). I'm going to buy extra Ram for my netbook soon and I'm definately going to buy it here.

Intended upgrade of previous Crucial install of 2*512 double-sided (D/S) DIMMs from earlier crucial advisor software; came to add the extra memory 1*512 DIMM and my M/B complains at 3 chips (although it can officially do 3) because the original 2 (PC2100) were D/S and the M/B only handles combinations of D/S and S/S in certain configs in certain DIMM slots. Check out the M/B manual really carefully before you shell out on an upgrade that just can't work (I now have a spare 512 S/S DIMM if I lose one of the 512 D/S DIMMs) ho hum....

Loading an Anti Keylogging Program for my online banking was the 'straw that broke the camel's back.' This was confirmed by Windows Task Manager (Ctrl Alt Del)showing the Commit Charge Total exceeding the Total Physical Memory. Having doubled the memory from 512MB to 1 GB, things have much improved, and even with McAfee Virus Scan running, other applications are still usable.
This has extended the life of my PC for a relatively small outlay.

[...]came with very detailed fitting instructions. It was a little difficult to slot the memory into the vacant slots as the board was a fraction bigger than the old memory and therefore a bit tight. Has to be pushed hole really firmly, while at the same time pulling the retaining clips on the motherboard, which is fiddly, but not Crucials fault. Performance, now that it is fitted is a revelation. Saved me spending £300 on the new PC my wife thought we needed!

I haven't noticed any increase in speed but that could be due to my PC configuration.

The memory identification applet said there should be two spare memory slots on my motherboard but in fact there was only one. That wasn't a problem because I only ordered one additional module.

My 1.8GHz Athlon PC (running Windows XP) had 512Mb RAM and was very slow loading web pages. After I installed the 2 Crucial cards taking it up to 1.5Gb the PC now loads pages much faster and also doesn't hang when opening multiple applications, plus viewing streaming video is much much better than before!!

My PC is a custom built tower and four years old. I had plenty of room on the hard drives but the memory was small in comparison and gradually it became harder to use and extremely slow. As a relative novice to replacing hardware I was reluctant and I wasn't sure exactly what type or size of memory I needed. I took a chance and removed my old memory and wrote down the information on it. I then replaced it, found out what it was I needed by using the online chat facility on the Crucial website. A technician helped guide me to the right product. [...]I found it as easy to fit as the old memory card. Increasing the memory size now allows me to use multiple applications quickly and without the tedious waiting I experienced before. The improvement was immediate and it's like having a new PC again. I really can't fault it and the price was very good compared with other sites I'd looked at before. I'm very pleased to have used Crucial and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

I'm a basic user; use my PC for general word processing, internet use and emails. The amount of memory installed in my PC was originally 256mb - not enough for todays resource hungry applications! Especially a certain well-known anti-virus product - my PC began to grind to a snail's pace. Adding the extra memory meant that after the initial XP loading time, I could run more programs without the painful wait while XP tries to use the disk as memory (page file).
Well worth it for a low cost alternative to buying a new PC.

I bought two of these to upgrade my Evesham Axis 2600+MK from 1gb (1x 512mb, previously bought from Crucial + the factory fitted 2x 256mb) to 1.5gb RAM.

I use a lot of desktop publishing and web design applications at the same time in addition to graphic intensive chat sites and found that my machine was slowing up a lot. Since the upgrade there's definitely been an improvement.

Easy to install and haven't had any problems thus far.

After some years, I felt it was time to spruce up our Customer Training Suite PC's - with a memory upgrade for the PC's.

I am a luddite and faced with my three year old PC failing to run a number of applications like photoshop and itunes I was ready with the sled hammer.
Google eventually led me to Crucial where i simply searched by PC brand and model and the correct RAM was on my doorstep in no time. I even managed to get the cover off (where does all that dust come from?) and fit them myself, restart and i'm cooking on gas - Brilliant
