Crucial Scan Recommended this Ram, However when installed, system would not boot up. I called customer service and without question was able to obtain a different set of Ram. Once I installed the new Ram, the wife was happy with her faster system. The bottom line is that the Scan is not always right, but Crucial will work hard to make you happy.

I odered memory from Crucial to upgrade my wife's workstation. I have used Micron memory in the past and have always had a great experience. The memory sticks [...] were easy to install. My wife was thrilled with the performance upgrade (we brought her from 1GB to 3GB on an AMD workstation running Microsoft Vista.)

Easy install, instructions on line if you need them, but the best part is knowing that crucial scanned my computer and said these are compatible. i have just ordered another 2 gb kit to take the system to 4 gb...so many applications, so little time. thanks for the product and service...have upgraded daughter's computer and 3 of ours and yet to have a problem with crucial products.

I use Windows Vista Home Premium on an Acer unit. It came with only 1 GB RAM. This was just not enough since I've usually got PhotoShop, my internet browser, iTunes, and AIM going at any given time. I upgraded to 3 GB RAM and there is a very noticeable difference in the speed of my computer. Vista Home Premium also runs much smoother.

Very easy to install, but not sure if it increased the speed. I can't tell the difference and I'm still getting the 'System Resources Low' warning. Maybe now I'm just downloading more stuff so it seems the same, because I use the computer more.
