I always go with Crucial both in personal and professional use. These Dimms for my home PC were no exception. The mere 1 GB I was using was beginning to show its age. The price to add an extra 2GB to my system was too good to pass up. They worked well with my existing RAM and my Windows XP system has had an appreciable speed boost under heavy load. Thanks guys!

The memory upgrade to 3G total has increased the speed of my computer, however it was the memory scanner that checked my computer and told me what to buy that impressed me. It was easy. No figuring out if I need pairs, how may pins I had, or whether my computer had extra slots. Those were non issues. Thanks Crucial.

Initially I was concerned I wouldn't be able to get the computer apart and install the memory. I'd never had the computer apart before. After some tugs and tries, and unplugging all those wires on the back, the memory just snapped in. It was easy to locate the proper slot and orientation. Then, after plugging all those cables BACK in, I had nearly a new computer! Much cheaper than scrapping the old one. If you have doubts about the brand, go to your [...] and see how they look up memory compatibility on their computer: They go to the Crucial Web site!

Crucial's System Scanner chose the perfect memory module for my Dell. I had recently purchased other modules on two seperate occassions but in both instances the memory was incompatible and the modules had to be returned.
It took me no more than 5 minutes for installation and I immediately saw an imporvement in system performance.

I belong to a news group called Cloudeight & I trust them 100%, and when they recommended going to Crucial.com to see if you need more memory. I went and checked it out, as I knew I did need more. I trusted Cloudeight & they trust Crucial, because of that I let Crucial into my computer to check what I have. What they recommend to you is up to you, to do what you want with the information.. I ordered 2GB of Ram from their site[...] I know I am going to keep their site in my Favorites, should I need anything more.June :-)

While I received memory guaranteed to work in my computer, there were no meaningful instructions regarding memory speed. I purchased 2 1GB modules. The speed of the crucial memory is faster than what was already installed and so I received a warning that the faster memory would slow down to the slower speed. I chose not to do so and as a result, instead of ending up with 3 GB of memory, only changed from the existing 1 GB to the new 2 GB total.
