I have a pretty old pc wiht 2 250MB, and replace it wiht 2 512MB, it runs beautiful, it cut the booting time in more than half.

This was a five minute upgrade that transformed my aging Sony VAIO desktop running Windows XP. I had upgraded to Office Ultimate 2007 and had excruciatingly slow response times with the resident 512KB RAM. After installation of the additional 512 KB Crucial memory, I can now have multiple applications open with adequate performance.
