It was so easy to install this product that it could be done by nursery kids. I have never upgraded any computer before never mind a laptop but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again or encourage someone else to. There is a definate improvement - but then moving RAM from 1 gig to 4 I would hope there would be!

Excellent piece of kit - noticably different performance on my Macbook -especially when running multiple applications at the same time and whizzing through all of my iTunes albums.

Easy to install(despite the various misgivings posted by other users). Instructions clear and detailed on the apple website. However disappointed that can not see any noticable increased speed in my macbook (upgraded from 1GB to 4GB)

This product works on all macbooks with the core 2 duo processors. On late 2006 and mid 2007 macbooks the 4GB shows in About this mac but the system can only use 3GB.

After the easy installation and automatic firmware updates I have been extremely impressed with how my mac now handles the complexities of song writing / music production with no audio clipping or performance problems.
