When I first went in for memory I tried to be too clever, I noted the specs from Crucial's recommendation and ordered what I thought was same from cheaper source. It didn't work on account of no mention of high or low density in specs. Cheaper source very good with refund. Returned to Crucial, paid more but was aware that it was guaranteed to work OK, and it does.

I have been purchasing my memory from Crucial for a number of years now. During this time the memory has always been very good, I have never had any problems with either laptop or desktop memory from Crucial. All my upgrades have always improved my computers proformance.

Only had 512 MB of RAM in my laptop. Kept swapping all the time so it was really slow. Now it's no problem anymore. General speed seemed to have increased a little as well.
