I bought this to speed up compile times, which it has done. However, while the machine sees the 4 gigs, and the BIOS sees the 4 gigs, the OS will only see 3 gigs (I have tried 64 bit versions). It seems like the BIOS is causing the problem here. Perhaps Crucial should include this as a warning in future?
