I upgraded my 1st gen MBP about a month ago. It now runs at the max 2 gigs. Running Leopard. It seems to be very happy with the memory, and I know I am. I Considering how cheap the memory was, I am very pleased.

I am a graphic designer that works heavily with the Adobe creative suite. I've got a 15 in. Macbook Pro and before I upgraded my RAM (from 512 MB to 2 G) I could barely do any work on my computer because it just got way too bogged down. After installing my new RAM I can actually USE my computer for it's intended purpose! My only regret is that I waited so long to upgrade. I honestly didn't realize that I could do it so inexpensively, but now that I have, I'm very thankful because I feel that I've extended the life of my computer with (not a lot) of money well-spent.

When new RAM was installed it would make my computer freeze, or it would just restart on it's own. The stuff is no good.
