I was really worried about buying memory from crucial. But apple memory is priced way too high, about $200. Everything worked out with crucial, installation was easy and my Mac runs fast now.

Doubling my memory was a good choice. Before I couldn't open iPhoto without crashing my computer... This need memory allows me to do a lot of mutli tasking with apps

I got the RAM Crucial recommended and once installed, which at least on a Macbook is very simple process, it worked very well. Even though I only doubled my RAM, the performance seems even faster than that. Most apps only take 2-3 bounces to launch. A worthwhile upgrade if your Mac starts feeling slow, which is why I got new RAM.

I use the MacBook on extended photographic travels and load all my images onto my MacBook. When my LT started slowing down I added more Crucial memory, and now I am able to view the images and start working with Photoshop before returning home. Thanks Crucial.

I would most definitely recommend this to a friend because its the same thing as if you were to buy it at the Apple Store. My only concern is that IF I wouldn't have kept the manual for my macbook, the installation process would have taken me longer.

The RAM I ordered for my macbook didn't work, but it was really easy to call customer service and they were super nice. They gave me a couple of options and I really trusted them so I decided to exchange the RAM for another. And I don't even have to pay for return shipping. For a few dollars, 2 GB of memory makes Macbooks last longer for everyday use. Crucial memory works well and is safely packaged. Access to the Macbook is clear with levers, but a #00 Screwdriver is needed.

I upgraded my white (2007) MacBook from half a gig to two gigabytes of RAM and decided to order from Crucial, having read other positive reviews of their products.

I did this at the same time I replaced the mechanical HDD with a SSD, and the increase in performance of my computer is incredible. Applications open lightning fast even when I open 3 or 4 at a time. Spotlight has instant results. For the price, it doesn't make sense to not upgrade your RAM.
