After installing memory from another manufacturer my laptop kept crashing and/or freezing up (despite being identical specifications.) I had considered selling this laptop but figured with Crucial's compatibility guarantee I should give it a try. Needless to say it works perfect no crashes or problems at all. I plan on ordering another 1GB stick for the open slot on my board soon.
