Been using these for a while now and bought this set to expand on my current ones, had no problems with them so far, though I guess it's only been about 4 months.

Bought for my father's PC that was getting a bit slow with a new video application. Very cost-effective upgrade, easy to identify compatible modules via the Crucial site.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, I brought the product as a power user and have been using it thoroughly ever since install and it has no problems coping with my demands.
The install was very easy, even for novice users who are a bit anxious about it. It's exactly what was advertised and the price tag associated with the product was unbeatable at any other store. I would definetly reccomend buying your RAM from this company!

I used the Crucial Compatability Checker and found this 800MHZ option so I bought it, once installed it showed only 667MHZ. I checked the specs on my 9150 (yes I know I should've done that first) and found it only supports upto 667MHZ, so not much improvement on the 533MHZ I had before.

Great value and works well.
However, I've had two of these DIMMs fail with Bad Memory reported after about 9 months continual 24/7 use. Both DIMMs failed within 2 months of each other.
I've had a good experience with Crucial RAM in the past so bought new ones and so far had no problems. I'll put it down to a bad batch.
Only minor complaint with the Ballistix range is the latest DIMMs have a flimsy stuck-on heatsink where as the older range had a better quality version that clamped over the ICs.

I wanted it for increased gaming performance and for better internet speed. I can now play Call of Duty 4 quite happily, but other than that there has been no real difference between the 2 of these that I bought and my previous default 514MB RAM.

Can't fault the memory at all, easy to install, no problems with the pc afterwards, I use this machine for work purposes and home, great for work as flicking through web pages constantly going back and forth, and also have a lot of applications running at one time and she's working like a dream (the pc that is)
