I had to start a RMA because my DDR2 Ballistix memos weren´t working well, after kind of 3 years of intensive use.
Crucial sent me 4 Gb of new memories within 1 week... even I´m in Spain.
We are not used to this eficiency in Spain...

Decent memory with good performance.
Easy to install.
Main gripe is that despite my mainboard being compatible (according to the Crucial Website); with the memory and having a Phenom II x4 3Ghz processor the memory will only run at 800 Mhz if left to its own devices. You have to manually set the clock multiplier if you want it to run at 1066Mhz.
Not one diagnostic / benchmark tool I have tried will recognise the memory as being 1066Mhz - it always detects as 800Mhz memory.

Good product and great service from crucial. Only problem is i can't run the memory at 1066 it only runs at 800, which is due to mobo not crucials fault. Doesn't make that much difference, but check carefully that your mobo supports 1066 mem, if you really want that extra inch of perfromance.

Almost everything was fine except that your system scan advised a 2gb enhancement but my computer would only run with 1gb.Still gave me a big improvement and I was able to sell the spare 1gb. Thanks for your help

Great RAM - gets a bit toasty but doesn't seem to mind. Micron D9 chips allow an excellent overclock too.

I edit video on my PC, and editing progs are memory hungry. I have taken Win XP to max 3Gb.

I use my PC for all sorts, but primarily for gaming.
I'd upgraded from a Pentium 4 ( S478 ) spec and wanted to get decent performing, but affordable RAM.
I'd purchased DDR1 ' Ballistix ' modules 4-5 yrs prior and was VERY satisfied as they provided top performance virtually the whole time.
So I thought I'd complement my upgrades with DDR2 modules of the same type.
So far so good is all I can say !!
Been playing UT3 with texture and world settings on 4...can probably increase it if I wanted.
I've also been playing Crysis Demo on high settings, with 1024 : 768 res. I prefer a little breathing space rather than over-clock to tight settings.
I get about 50+ FPS average in both games so I am satisfied !!
However, I'd have been a little more comfortable if the heatspreaders had some kind of ' lock ' mechanism holding it in place rather than glue...similar to the DDR1 versions.
I suspect this isn't so as it could add to the overall heat capacity.
This is probably my only gripe :P
