I really should have checked that my Nikon D50 could take an 8GB card - it can't so I sold it to a friend and bought an 2GB card instead!

Although listed as compatible with the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet, it doesn't actually fit, since the device has a miniSD slot.

OK, SDHC design isn't going to set the world on fire but they are now so commonplace that everyone is on the bandwagon. Why buy this from Crucial? It is competitively priced (not the cheapest but still in the running), very quick, and a good capacity.

I use this in a SDHC only Camcorder and have found it to be reliable and have sufficient capacity that I can easily store a couple of hours of footage before having to change to another card. Right, I have enough cards so I'm off to do a remake of Bladerunner

Any concerns that the op sys wouldn't see the large capacity were unfounded. Able to use out of the box and transfer to it via USB multi card reader. Subsequently installed straight into Dell Mini. Easy!

I didn't really look into the difference between standard SD cards & SDHC cards before I bought this.

I knew it wouldn't work in my camera (as the max size card is 2Gb) but it also does not work in my laptop (with built in SD card reader) or in my external crucial SD card reader.
I had assumed (without checking) it would work in normal SD card readers.

Totally my fault for not checking first.

I can't actually find a card reader that will read these new cards & Crucial has stopped selling accesories like this.

Cheap price though.

I've just purchased one of the new cameras that have been getting a lot of publicity lately (yummy). The memory card has worked wonderfully with it. It is perfect for multiple highspeed shots and will store more photos than I'd ever need to, before downloading to my PC.

I've made several pruchases from Crucial and have never been dissapointed with any of the products.
