Purchased specifically to copy newly purchased DVD of Windows 7 operating system to the 4 gig USB.
This enabled loading of windows 7 onto XP netbook. Complete success now have USB copy as a back up and Lenovo S10E windows 7 net book.

Product was fine until it failed , without warning, to be recognised by XP or Vista also data recovery software couldn't see it. Not good for a 7 month old stick that doesn't get used that frequently

Lovely job. Small and fast... no hanging around... created a a bootable Ubuntu distro with it and quite happy. Also suitable for music and films.

Lookswise it has a blue LED data transfer indicator... I like blue LEDs for some reason... the only thing I wish is that is was black so it matched my laptop and PS3.... but at the end of the day who cares what colour it it?

Handy bit of kit and well priced too/

Very, very disapointed with this, bought 5 of them for different people at work to use as ready boost devices. Within about 2 months 4 have failed and been replace with some of the replacements failling as well. They all failed in the same way on different laptops (Toshiba, Compal etc) with constant blue LED on and USB device not recognised by VISTA. Have had different USB devices from Crucial before and not had any problems so maybe just a bad product.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was very prompt and customer service was very good with fast turnaround for replacements. Just a shame that product was no good.

I use this for moving everything from my music collection to accounting data at work, never had a single compatibility issue or data corruption problem. Transfer rates are very fast. The unit is small (will not block an adjacent USB port on a laptop for example) and robust (it lives in my cycling bag and not a mark on it). I'll never buy a different brand memory stick again, especially at this price.

I'm using this as a backup while I'm away backpacking incase I lose any camera memory cards. Have used this to transfer files between computers in work to home desktop and laptop and simple 'plug in, drag and drop' USB stick does the job nicely!
