I was finding my old laptop running slowly and taking ages to power up and shutdown, after running the Crucial memory check tool I was interested to see my PC was only fitted with 512mb but was capable of going to 2gb.I sent for the ram upgrade [...], after following the simple instructions, I installed it in about 5 minutes and now have a speedier laptop, and have not got the annoying "out of memory" errors I used to get when I had a handful of tabs open in my browser.Thank you Crucial, this was a welcome boost to an old friend!

My Acer Aspire 3003WLM laptop only came with 256 RAM. Performance was so slow as to make it virtually unusable. I could not browse the internet while McAfee updates were downloading. I had contstant problems with McAfee disabling protection. Boot up and shutdown took minutes to complete.

Now, following installation of my 1GB memory upgrade it is like having a brand new laptop and the aforementioned problems no longer occur. The improved performance is truly awesome!
