Running Vista Home with 1gb of RAM was a pain, programs kept crashing and the Laptop seemed to be getting slower despite using many of the available utilities. Crucials free software pointed out my upgrade path and I went for the cheapest option adding 1gb RAM. Now my Laptop runs like a dream, I wish I'd upgraded sooner than I did.

The increase in speed is noticably greater on my laptop, as I was trying to run Vista on 1GB of RAM and use the laptop for multiple programs as well.

The extra RAM has boosted performance and response times and was a great buy!!
