Needed to upgrade my 2006 13" Macbook Black so it could run Snow Leopard (meaning it could then run iTunes 10 and sync with an iPhone 4). Memory arrived quickly, was easy to install, made a significant difference to my machine's performance and am now runnning Snow Leopard with no problem. Excellent product.

I ordered this product after buying an iphone 4 which I then discovered I couldn't sync with my old MacBook running Tiger. I didn't have enough RAM to upgrade to Snow Leopard. I was about to send the phone back when [...] pointed me in Crucial's direction. I have to say I was pretty scared about trying to install new memory myself, but it was pretty straightforward and works a treat. My old laptop is now running great with more memory and an up to date operating system.

After pricing a new machine, I decided to try updating the memory instead. For less than £40 I was able to dramatically improve performance. The memory was simple to install and now Snow Leopard runs much smoother on my 3yr old MacBook.
