Only problem I had was that the exisitng memory would not work with the newly installed. Existing was factory installed and I thought the idea of the scan was to ensure compatibility - probable my fault.
Still pleased though as PC much faster using 2gb as opposed to 1 gb, and the price was right.

These were so easy to install. It took me no more than 20 minuets from unplugging to restarting, and I'd never done it before. They came with easy to follow instructions. The computer must be running 2-3 times faster now. Superb.

I cannot find any fault with these cards at all.

My desktop aspire was slow and seeming to get slower. I noticed on thesidbar gadgets that the processor rarely reached 50% capacity but that the memory spent most time in the red. The most annoying thing was internet explorer hanging up.
I bought a 2 pack 2x 1GB RAM having run the on-line utility to find compatible memory. Fitting was really easy. I put the 2 x 1GB in slots 0 and 1 and moved the existing 2 x 512kB to slots 3 and 4. Put the cover back on & booted up - now 3GB of RAM and gadget shows memory rarely gets above 60%, internet has not lockup since and start-up/shutdown is rocket fast. Can't fault it

As most are aware, VISTA is soooo slow!

Adding this ram has made a significant differencs in speed, in startup, usage and shutdown.
I use the PC for creating animated graphics and this ram is perfect for my needs.

I upgraded an entry level pc with 512mb ram and running vista... before the upgrade this pc crawled... took near 20mins to boot... now about 30secs to boot the exact same programs and vista.

Easy to install, clear instructions... took about 2 minutes to install

Instant boot after installation, no errors or problems.

Since using the new ram I can run multiple programs without reduction in performance...eg. no pauses on films or streaming when running something else.

Only downside was the fact that i took so long to upgrade in the first place! Worth every penny!
