Download the crucial scan and check your computers maximum memory.Cannot recommend them enough intstalled memory in 10 minutes these guys know what memory is all about would recommend them before anyone else.

I own a macbook and since installing the new 4GB of RAM my computers performance has been more reliable. I can now have many high powered programs running at the same time and switch between them with no hassle. For music and digital art software it's great because the laptop can play sequences back much easier now in real time. It's also great for rendering pieces of work faster and more smoothly.
The only thing that I found a little tricky was physically changing over the modules as you need to be careful about which parts you touch and very gentle/delicate with the internal computer parts. I think it would be quite hard for someone with large fingers, as I'm quite a small girl and it was even tricky for me! However once this was done, I turned my computer back on and they were accepted straight away, it didn't even come up with any messages or anything, just worked fine :)
So it's definitely worth upgrading to these if you use your computer for work with any music/movie programs. Even things like the internet and dvd player work a bit better now, and I think if you're a gamer it would be a good buy too.

This went in an Intel Mac Book which means you need precision screwdrivers.

This was a good decision, it makes a nice difference in terms of speed when using multiple applications. I use a lot of photoshop, illustrator and indesign as well as play multimedia being a student in design.
This product makes all these easy to start up, navigate between and use daily.

I like the fast delivery, the easy installation (thanks to Apple design) and the very nice price in the 2x2GB bundle.
Plus Crucial is still keeping up its great reputation of stocking quality products.
