I've just installed the memory module in my 15" Mac PowerBook G4 so that I could upgrade to OS X Leopard, and it's like I've got a brand new machine. It was a bit fiddly to install but that was mainly due to the tiny screws on the back of the laptop, but it was worth it for the performance increase.
