It was good to be able to identify the correct memory for our nine year old computer... an additional 256MB made all the difference to its modest performance (AMD processor, 900MHz, 512MB RAM, running XP Professional), scary stuff!

At last - memory which has the correct architecture to be recognised as full size by this ancient Intel SR440BX motherboard. Everything else I've been able to try recently has only been recognised as half size, even from a supplier who stated that the memory supplied had the correct architecture!
Used with Pentium-3 500MHz; WinXP sp3 (Yes, it DOES work, but s-l-o-w-l-y!). Increasing RAM from 256MB to maximum supported 500MB has resulted in greatly reduced disk swapping.

Used to boost the 128 MB of memory as supplied in an ancient Mesh computer. All works well except that 2 x 256 MB for some reason is reported by W98 as 511 MB!

speeded things right up, i just paid a bloke [£] for an hr just to look and tell me he could come back another day and fit me a bit more memory for [£]..well i fitted it myself it was so easy ,and i saved myself a load of money(no wonder the computer guys dont like you watching them , because you would see how easy it is)go on fit your own memory, youll feel great that you did it, and the chaps at crucial will talk you through it if your not sure..a very satisfied customer paul plymouth

A quick and efficient service from crucial. I Fitted two of these memory boards to me PC and it has increased the speed and performance tremendously. There were no problems, and the PC recognised the new boards straight away, everything worked perfectly. I would recommend these boards if they are compatible with your existing set-up.
