It's Perfect! I love it! Really quick easy to install; unscrew bottom shield, pull tabs out, slot in RAM chips with sticker facing the back of the device and Voila! Booted the PC into Mac OS X first, with a normal 7 second start up being reduced to 3 seconds I was pleased. RAM configured correctly when I checked in 'about this mac' (on menu bar), then I booted into Windows which had sped up too! Original startup times including booting was around 10 minutes (with 1GB RAM) now it takes about 1.5 minutes (now with 4GB). I am a powerful user and my computer runs perfectly without any slow response, crashes or freezes when editing full HD movies, rendering them or running several virtual machines at any one time. Firefox and CS3 Master Apps are much faster in loading - they comes up instantly! I have a 24" iMac 2.4GHz, I'm only 15! [...] Overall I think this product is a brilliant choice and good for its value!

The extra memory has made running in both a MAC and (dare I say it) a Vista environment so much quicker and easier. For me now a useable proposition from a business point of view.

I bought this set to go in my 24" Intel iMac. The sticks are compatible as promised, and are very easy to install in the iMac (one screw to remove). So far, they have been very reliable, and seem just as fast as my previous RAM.

As part of my job I produce graphics heavy text documents in iWorks 08 and upgrading the RAM to 4Gb makes a major difference. Load times are hugely decreased (tested against my largest 50Mb document) with seamless flow. Seriously, if you have an iMac then top out the RAM and you'll definitely notice the increase in performance. Very impressed indeed.Its genuinely easy to install RAM - just follow the diagrams on the foot of the iMAc stand - but buy the anti-static band for £1.99 to remove any "will I fry my machine" nerves.
