I use this PC to work from home, which involves linking in to other business intranets and also 'sharing' my computer with my instructors etc. This was difficult and often resulted in me being 'thrown off' the sites. Since I have increased the RAM the PC works beautifully & I have no problems connecting to the requisite sites.

I required ddr2 for a recently purchased ITX dcore atom board. So good old trusty Crucial to the rescue, your help and memory locator ID gave me the correct DDR2 details for this board, so ordered the 2gig ddr2, [...] The DDR2 straight forward to fit as usual and booted the ITX board for the first time with an existing installed linux system. Very fast and so far very reliable. Not a lot to say about memory as its a component part. Have always used Crucial over the many years. Have recommended Crucial to many friends and had good feed back from them. [...] Price wise I find very good, certainly not over priced. Of course there is always one who will say i got mine for half that from [@] via hong kong. But how long will it last, I learnt the hard way, have several usb devices from hong Kong all faulty with high failure rates all pirated copies, so do not use these sources for memory. Crucial memory is the only source for me for reliability [...]

Product was very easy to install, a simple case of unscrewing one side of the case and pushing the memory in the DIMM slot.

Noticed an immediate improvement in speed and general loading times of applications, and I haven't even switched to a 64-bit operating system to take full advantage of the product yet.

It has one more test to pass, and that is reliability but that can over come over time!

I bought this extra memory as my pc was slow and I kept getting the dreaded BSOD, despite having uninstalled, reinstalled, system restored, prayed to the gods of the pc etc. Since installing the memory (which was simple to do, even without reading the enclosed instructions) my pc has run much faster, and no more BSOD. No downsides to this product at all.

Easy to use either way to determine exact ram needed. Speed of service is excellent and having used them in the past I knew I'd get a speedy response. Had to return a product in the past due to admin mixup but a phone call and explanation quickly sorted it out and correct product arrived next day. That's what a customer wants. No hassle. Bought as a memory upgrade to speed up loading times on a new Online game i was playing that seemed a little memory hungy, had 2 x 1gig before, replaced one with this (wasnt bothered about the double data rate of matched pairs, would rather have the ram than a few FPS extra), decided not to take my PC above 3gig because of the 3.2gig memory limit on 32bit OS that i have.

About the product, it works a treat, my other module thats intalled is also crucial so i dont seem to get any memory timing related issues.

8gb should mean that Windows 7 64-bit will load quickly and perform quickly. Whilst I'm sure this memory is perfectly reliable I found that it was very slow and made performance worse whic was a real suprise. I found that PC6400 memory works much better with Windows 7 and when I put my "old" memory back in Windows 7 booted in less than 40 seconds, compared to 3.5 minutes (yes really) with this memory. Not Crucial's fault just a feature of the way the memory interacted on my motherboard, so I've returned it and will get 4gb of PC6400 from Crucial - also impressed with their customer service folks as well :-)

The memory is the ultimate upgarde for your ASUS P5GC-MX/1333. It should be noted the supporting documentation published by asus for this mother board didnt give the crucial product as a compatable solution. It definatly works. Go For it! Its worth the extra cost.

It works perfectly with the Intel D945GCLF 1.6GHz Atom Mini-ITX Board even though the crucial database said they only provided 1GB sticks for this board. Intel's own specification says otherwise so I entered that into the search and found this to be the only memory supplied so I bought it and it does work. Provides the motherboard with the maximum RAM it supports.

Easy to order[...].only problem is that if you finish up with more than 3GB then you cannot use the excess unless you have a 64 bit OS.It has made a difference by being able to multi task.The only caution is dont put too much memory in for your system.I use my system for Charity and other group work.

I dont know much about upgrading memory and so I let crucial scan my machine and recommend upgardes. This product came up at [$] a stick it was basic to install and the performance increase was significant. I went from 512mb - 4gb with 2 of these.Note: One of the recommendations suggested buying 3 which would of been unregonised by operating system 3.5gb tops with windows xp 32.

4gb would not work in my machine despite the crucial scanner advising that my machine would accept 2 banks of 2gb. With some further checking in Google it appears that the Dell Optiplex 320 will only accept upto a maximum of 2gb. I am now left with 2gb spare

Adding the recommended 8Gb memory (max for my application) has made my computer fly, instant boot-up, blistering quick opening of MS office applications & multi-tasking is no longer the hit and miss process I experienced pre-memory upgrade THANKS Crucial. Price! well the last time I bought a memory upgrade it cost me £120 for 2MB from a high street store, name (chicken tikka is one) talking of curries I think you should call this upgrade a vindaloo, toilet rolls in the fridge it's that hot!!! Now where can I get that TB Hardisc from so I can start to rule the world in seconds, that is once I've got of the loo.

I recently ordered a pair of the above memory sticks to compliment 2 I had from Crucial earlier. Unfortunately, when I put them into my machine it wouldn't boot. However, when I checked the memory with Memtest one of the sticks turned out to be faulty. I contacted Crucial got a RMA and was impressed by how quickly they got a new memory stick out to me. The computer is now running fine.
