I have an 8KTA3PRO Epox Motherboard, Crucial claim it will take 1.5GB (3 x 512) Manufacturers say 1GB max. The board as four slots, physically it will take and recognise 3 x 512MB if positioned in slots 0,1 & 3 (not 2) However with 1.5GB it s unreliable. Lots of crashes. Memory diagnostic shows lots of errors in the 3rd slot no matter which stick is inserted. Removing the third stick and sticking to the manufacturers maximum of 1GB gives reliable and fast memory upgrade. Shame i wasted the extra [$] to find that out

I was recommended to your web site by a friend and was a bit scptical at first and very much lacking in computor mechanics knowledge. My computor is an obsolete Time machine after entering your website and then running a test to see what SDRam it had it told me that it only had 256MB of SDRam and also the solution to solve the problem after selecting from your recommendations to uprate to the maximum Ram possable which was 2 modules of 516mb each giving me a total of 1032MB they arrived promtly and were no trouble to fit this has made a remarkable difference to the speed of my computor especially the start up and connecting to the internet Thank you

I've just Purchased a Roland Juno G workstation Keyboard but needed to upgrade the memory, All this technical stuff is absolute jargon to me but i worked through all the memory dimm expansions until i came to the one with the spec i needed, i ordered it and it came today, hesitantly i opened up the back of the keyboard and popped it in "so far so good" then checked the system, Voila! my keyboard is now fully with upgraded memory, thanks crucial, good game!

It really is true - you can't have too much memory and, what's more, it's not worth getting the cheap stuff - I've tried that and had compatibility problems.
Buy from Crucial and you won't have any worries.

Needed to improve performance of a very old PC. Installed easily and worked as I expected on 1st boot.
Comments about Crucial 512MB, 168-pin DIMM, SDRAM, PC133,:
I upgraded a very old machine from .75GB to 1.5GB being the largest available at the point of purchase and the number of slot available. Having installed the new memory, the difference was noticable from power up - every aspect of use appeared smoother, extending the life of the computer pending a complete upgrade. Well Done Crucial

The start of the crucial experience is their brilliant system scan, having spent weeks looking for memory and never finding it described exactly as I am expecting, the Crucial scan tells me exactly what my options are and what it recomends.[...].Installation instructions very clear and specificAnd it just works.Brilliant.

Works fine, makes my Linux PC go faster.
The Crucial tool for working out what memory is needed does not work for Linux, which made it much harder to work out the correct type of RAM.

It's reassuring to have Crucial tell you what part you need for your PC and you don't have to be a technical whiz kid to fit it. I was able to do it in 10 minutes and have increased memory to >1GB
Thanks a lot

Comments about Crucial 512MB, 168-pin DIMM, SDRAM, PC133,:
Either memory card will function alone and either will function in combination with a 128Meg part in any slot combination, so despite Crucial memory check software on the motherboard, we are stuck with 5/8 Gig instead of 1 Gig. An expensive mistake. At least we tried just one machine first
It seems the Crucial 'memory-test' program does not check the motherboard properly and recommends more than the board can use.
