I read about "Crucial" in my "Which?" magazine and wondered about upgrading the memory in my trusty 4 year old laptop which I though was getting a bit slow. I used the online Crucial memory widget thingy tool and when it had told me what I needed, I trawled the internet for the best price and amazingly that was from Crucial too. So I ordered the recommended bits[...]- they took about 3 minutes (a nervous 3 minutes) to fit (I am no expert, but do own a screwdriver) and BINGO my laptop is better than new - I wish I'd done this years ago. If my laptop could talk it would sing (you know what I mean). All applications launch faster, spreadsheets and wordprocessing are instant but the best results are from my desktop publishing program I now don't have time to make a coffee whilst waiting for it. Thanks Crucial - I don't know who you are but your memory chips are good!
