It does exactly what I wanted it to do! My PC had slowed down to a crawl, particularly after upgrading to a later version of McAfee VisusScan. The memory upgrade from Crucial has definitely improved my PC's performance.

Bought 4Gb to add to my 0.5gb. Unfortunately XP now only picks up new total of about 3.7Gb - I would have been really cross had I bought the recommended 8Gb the PC scanner offered me.
