I bought 4GB RAM for my IMac from a different supplier and had to return the product twice because they did not work. Luckily I was refunded. Then I have been informed that Crucial is the best company to buy from. The price was slightly cheaper than the other company and the RAM worked perfectly. I definitely recommend Crucial and will use their services again if necessary.

The products most appealing aspect is that there's no discernable impact - until you notice everything is that little bit quicker. Going from 1 Gb to 4 Gb was notable only for the uninterrupted change.

I don't use the product because the product didn't work. Fantastically, as I removed the warranty labels, as depicted in various on-line installation videos, I rendered myself ineligible for a refund or replacement equipment. Joy!

There was nothing great about this equipment and so many things that aren't great about it it would be impossible to list them all here

Service & Delivery comments:

Crucial were great in handling my faulty memory board. So great they have taken two weeks to return the origional faulty memory board, that is after telling me I could not have a refund. The care and attention shown by the staff was particularly helpful when opting not to contact me to inform as to why the re-return was taking so long and allowing me my time and effort to contact them!

The delivery was not prompt the product did not work when it arrived and I will not be using Crucial again. :-)

Crucial - UK Response: We offer our own installation videos that do not depict any removal of the stickers. The stickers have a "Removal will void warranty" warning.

Does everything you'd expect from it and comes with excellent instructions. Apparently I shouldn't mention pricing here, but it seems necessary especially as the product is only RAM- the best thing about it is the price- over 100 GBP cheaper than first-party upgrade plus I got to keep the supplied components. Very highly recommended upgrade
