This is a replacement for a defective RAM. I am very pleased with the way it installed without any problems. I have been consistantly using my PC and I can recommend others to use your site for PC "parts". I always run Memtest (from www.memtest.org) on new RAM. This has found out many less than perfect modules this way (and got refunded!) but NEVER with a Crucial module! Memtest 100% passed these modules as expected so a smooth installation proceeded.

Usual problems matching memory of different types. I ended up ordering 2 x 2 gig DDR2 to satisfy the requiremnts of Server 2008. The product was fine, and I had no problems with the two matched DDR2's.

Straightforward memory upgrade that carries ECC protection against random memory errors.
I have 8GiB of this in a 790FX Mobo with a Phenom II CPU.
Only thing that could be better would be a faster ballistix style version :-)
