You need to have a little bit of knowledge to put it in yourself as you need to remove a plate off the bottom of the laptop, but its easy enough when you know how. There are a few access points on the bottom of the laptop, its the biggest you need to take off.

Crucial accessed computer analised what would be beneficial, advised improvements. I am a total computer novice, took their advice, prices were very good,after installation which i didnt undertake a friend did it for me. My computer is now a higher spec with out the higher cost. Using the Crucial memory finder made getting the correct memory so easy. I bought and fitted it for an elderly friend, into his laptop, with absolutely no problems. Buying memory is the cheapest and easiest way to upgrade your laptop or pc, would recommend the process to everybody.

The product is a wonderful match to my laptop. However, the memtest tool did not detect any ram in the system. I had to manually open the back cover to check my memory. That said, the website did help me in zeroing in on my specs of ram based on the latop model search.
