My old macbook was beginning to get a little slow and would not support Mac OS 10.5. Installing the memory has made a very noticeable difference to processing speed and combined with the new software all applications perform much faster than I had expected. The installation instructions online are not specific to different Mac models but a simple Google search will reveal video demonstrations which are easy to follow. Watch at least twice before starting ! V Good 10/10 ***

I shouldn't have procrastinated.
Using Crucial's system evaluation app to identify the correct modules made things all the more easy.
The DIMMs were a piece of cake to fit and now I can run Snow Leopard.
The combination of increased RAM and a slimmed-down operating system has my MacBook flying.

Macbook worked fine before but as I was installing Dreamweaver and photoshop felt it better to upgrade. Works brilliantly. Installation was easy thanks to Apple's design and the useful notes provided by crucial. I noticed a difference soon after installing the cards, particularly with MS Word which is a power hungry app esp running on my intel Mac. Now I switch between several apps (often Itunes, Photoshop, Word, two browser windows and Mail) running simultaneously and the delay is nothing or next to nothing.

I bought two of these to give my 1.8gb mac book a boost. What a huge difference in performance laptop is just so much more faster and doesn't chug along at its own slow pace anymore.

These modules were fantastic value for money and required only a little technical know how to install. Well worth it my laptop is like new. I would recommend this product for anyone who wants a boost in performance without having to pay big sums of money.
