I have wanted to upgrade my MacBook memory for some time, but every time I had 10 minutes to investigate I was confronted with pages of help from memory providers stating... if your MacBook was built in X year and has ABC Mhtz memory then choose this module .... if Y year etc etc ....

The MacBook analysis tool analysed my Mac, told me which modules I could choose from and then gave me a simple click to order.....

I have quoted this tool every day since ordering, FANTASTIC

Going from base memory to two x 1 Gbyte modules has transformed the performance of my Mac.

Good solid piece of hardware, a little hard to insert, but that's because I didn't want to force it in, that is not a con of this product it's more of how the macbook is built.

I bought two of these to upgrade my white 13inch intel macbook from 512mb to 2gb. Easy to install. Macbook worked fine before but as I was installing Dreamweaver and photoshop felt it better to upgrade. Works brilliantly. Easy to find out from Crucial which ram I needed and cheaper than getting direct from Apple.

Brilliant speed increase, computer transformation. Multi-tasking and data heavy applications now handled much better than before. The only thing that could maybe be included with it would be installation instructions for the computer you've ordered it for? I wasn't sure how to take a macbook apart to install it without doing a bit of research.

wanted to speed up my macbook and improve running multiple applications.
I work on large images in photoshop (around 200-300mb) and found it frustratingly slow. now it handles it superbly and chops and changes between multiple applications in a blink.

Installation was easy thanks to Apple's design and the useful notes provided by crucial. I noticed a difference soon after installing the cards, particularly with MS Word which is a power hungry app esp running on my intel Mac. Now I switch between several apps (often Itunes, Photoshop, Word, two browser windows and Mail) running simultaneously and the delay is nothing or next to nothing.

I bought two of these to give my 1.8gb mac book a boost. What a huge difference in performance laptop is just so much more faster and doesn't chug along at its own slow pace anymore.

These modules were fantastic value for money and required only a little technical know how to install. Well worth it my laptop is like new. I would recommend this product for anyone who wants a boost in performance without having to pay big sums of money.
