Because of essentially upgrading my RAM four-fold now, programs run a lot faster and I'm able to have multiple applications running at the same time. Furthermore, the games I play on my pc are now quicker to load and less laggy.
A very good kit and would recommend it to anyone else.

My Power Mac G5b already had 3 GB RAM but as a Photoshop user I bought a further 2GB RAM as I knew it would benefit from it to complement the 1.8 Ghz processor. I don't need to worry having Photoshop and Word etc open at the same time. I haven't yet had to fully put it to the test but I'm sure I won't be disappointed

[...]The memory was easy to fit and it's improved the performance no end, as it's replaced a 256MB card. Neither of us had delved into the gubbins of the PC before, but it wasn't as daunting as we thought it might be. After initial panic when I thought I had kiled my PC, the oncall helpline reasssured me everything was working correctly but there was a glitch. I was offered a solution, but needed a little patience, then once we back to square one, it was sorted. The change in speed is amazing. went from 256mb to 2gb of memory. A new PC for [$], I thank crucial and the daily mail for bringing crucial.com to my attention.Colin was immensley helpful on the phone, and assured me that my initial reservations were understandable and convinced me to continue. Installation is indeed quick, but the wait for the phoenix of a new Pc to rise was not instantaneous and cab bring a liitle anxiety. Thanks to freephone Colin's helpful advice I went back to the original config with old 512mb memory, checked it worked, swapped the 512 for 2GB and the computer busrt into life with new speed.I am not a computer professional but can put things into appropriate slots. Thanks again
