For about 4 years I have struggled with my dual core PC. Regular blue screens and corrupted operating system. Several reinstalls. I tried leaving the case open, upgrading PSU, upgrading the fan tweaking the clock setting in the MTB. Even cleaning the CPU and applying fresh heat sink paste. Finally I decided to try some new memory from Crucial. Especially as they sold a kit for my exact motherboard. Installed it, reinstalled windows 7 and it has run for several weeks rock solidly. I have had no blue screen, no crashes at all. I wish I had done this 2 years ago. Marvellous !

In December last year I was looking up what RAM I should buy for my new custom built computer and Crucial was the best choice!

I originally bought one 2GB Stick from another company and they charged me allot more, I then decided to fill up the other three RAM slots with the same RAM and I again decided to get it from crucial, I got 3 2GB Sticks for a little more including P&P, Great Value!

The index Rating for my RAM is 7.0 the lowest score is 4.7 and that is because of my inbuilt GPU, That is my next upgrade!

I am thinking about buying 16GB of RAM for Christmas and I will certainly be purchasing it from crucial!

The fact you can get 8GB of RAM for under £80 is truly amazing!

Keep up the great work Crucial

Already had 1 of these modules installed, but decided to get another to increase performance with multiple applications open, usually graphic design packages which can get quite memory heavy.

The extra 2gb (4gb total) is much better at keeping the system stable. The price of these has doubled since I bought the first one (summer 09), so get in quick before it goes up again!

Used for 'everyday' computing in conjunction with new Athlon II X3 435 2.9GHz triple core processor and Asus M4A78LT-M LE AMD 760G motherboard. Fast and stable performance. Am not a heavy gaming user so can't comment from that perspective. Very pleased overall and would not hesitate to recommend.

By using the crucial memory checker I was able to select the correct type for my motherboard - having found to my cost that some motherboards do not like some memory types. Fitting was quite straightforward and perhaps too easy as I was expecting more resistance when pushing to fit so take care when fitting. Performance is not blazing fast more reliable and allows more mutitasking with less "crash" Overall I am pleased with the product as it does what I asked of it for a reasonable price too.
