The fairly old (circa 2001) laptop had not been used much for a year or so. When I powered it up I was genuinely surprised at how slow it was to get going - having got used to more modern computers.

By putting in the maximum amount of memory the machine is now of some use again.

Internet access is brisk, and it is far easier to switch between programs. There's life in the old dog yet!

I download my RAW photographs and work on them with Photoshop, Paintshop, Raw converter and other types of software. The machine was so slow I despaired and went off creating and downloading my photography....now I can't wait to get on with it :-)
