Use the website tool to scan your computer to find out what RAM is compatible with your laptop. I have a HP laptop, forget using the tool on the HP website, HP's information is so vague you end up guessing what to buy.

I ordered the RAM suggested by the scan and it arrived within 2 working days. The installation is actually MUCH easier than installing desktop RAM. There was no pushing or using much force at all.

I don't think i noticed much extra performance in SPEED, (upgraded from 1GB to 2GB) except when using multiple applications. No need to configure anything either, I just switched on my laptop and it was picked up automatically.

I'm no computer expert but had noticed that my HP laptop had slowed down considerably. By using the memory advisor tool I was able to purchase the correct upgrade and complete the fitting myself with the instructions supplied.

Result - a much faster laptop and the satisfaction that I completed the upgrade myself for a really reasonable price.
