Did exactly what it sId on the packaging, increased memory by 100% and saw immediate benefits from memory intensive apps like Adobe Photoshop, especially when running alongside other apps like iTunes. Not managed to max out the memory yet, so hopefully it's done the job!!

After some research to run VMFusion 3 / Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro i found the extra 2 GB on top of the standard memory to be the answer. Also makes the overall performance of the Mac much snappier in every respect.Easy to fit as long as your not scared of removing a few screws. Just follow the Apple guide carefully in the computer manual.[$] for a 4 GB Kit. Really Good value compared to some Companies

Perfect solution for upgrading the memory of my MacBook Pro, and, at least with my model of MBP, was fairly easy to install. I have noticed a clear increase in performance, particularly when using intensive programs such as the Apple Pro applications (Logic, Final Cut, etc.)

I needed this to run multiple applications without a slowdown and now that I have it I'm more than satisfied. I run Final Cut Express Photoshop and After Effects all at once with no noticeable loss in performance except obviously when rendering scenes. Brilliant buy I'll be ordering RAM for my sisters old Powerbook because Crucial are seriously hard to beat unless you want gaming RAM...

I bought this kit to replace the standard 2 GB RAM which came with my new MacBook Pro. 2 GB is not enough to run Windows applications under virtualisation (using Parallels) alongside the likes of Photoshop, Word and Dreamweaver running under Mac OS X Leopard but 4 GB does the job.

As normal with Crucial RAM, it works, is completely compatible and has never caused a moment's worry. Besides that, I got it the next day after ordering so two days after buying the MacBook Pro I had upgraded it.

I primarily, use photoshop, Modeling and rendering software, so having has much ram as possible is a must. I would never buy a ram upgrade form apple themselves as the prices are ridiculous. Well done curial, you don't notice the change at first but when you load up work work or render your 3d images the increase in speed is really noticeable.

At a third of the cost of the apple RAM, and the benefits you gain from doubling the total to 4GB's, i really dont know why you wouldnt want to buy this product. after you have spent close to £2k on the laptop, you shouldnt even bat an eyelid at the cost of this, and the extra will make a massive improvement to your work/gaming/whatever. If you say "i dont do that much stuff on my macbook pro" why did you buy a macbook pro? honestly, just buy this. it will be worth it.
