The new RAM arrived in double quick time; it was priced highly competitivly; the tech help was great...........unfortunately it didn't work with my existing RAM! It was the 'correct' 1GB RAM module, but unknown to me, and I suspect Crucial HQ, it had 8 chips and not 16 chips as per my existing RAM board. And that, I am told, makes the new and the old RAM modules incompatible. Something to watch out for Crucial! The returns policy is great too......
