Super service and great products from Crucial as usual. Problem is, what do I do with the old modules now? In this age of 'green' and 'recycling' it would be great to be able to sell on, trade in or donate the old chips somewhere. Perhaps that would be the final star in the review...?

This increased the speed of my mother's laptop - not by a huge amount (to the untrained eye), but by enough so that she no longer had to wait for, literally, 20 minutes for Windows XP to startup (now decreased to 3 minutes). If the bus and train networks were this afforable and reliable, I'd use public transport with more faith!

The additional memory certainly gave the V4000 a bit more beathing space. A lot less hanging around while the hard drive clattered about. A worthwhile and easy upgrade.
