I needed more RAM to do HD editing. Crucial was very easy to order from (system works out what your options are), keenly priced and arrived in a couple of days post free. Installation was very fiddly though.

Very good service. I partcularly liked the online/downloadable program that you run on your computer to identify what type of RAM the computer currently has, and the different options to upgrade. This make Crucial really stand out from the competition.

Another crucial point is PRICE, and this was really the main purchasing point for us.

I purchased this RAM upgrade based on Crucial's scanning tool.[...] The complete installation took me less than 15 minutes and has had a dramatic effect on some applications e.g. Photoshop. It has also improved performance accross the board on my 4 year old Dell Dimension. The only comment I would make is that I had to wear gloves in order to insert the final chips because you have to press them in so firmly it was making my thumbs ache!
