Easy to install and computer "found" the memory straight away. Doesn't seem to have made a big impact on speed so maybe I need to clear the config out a bit more.

Early days but don't notice any significant improvement in performance. Do not regret purchase. Product definitely bona fide. All scans etc of system indicate memory increased by designated volume.

I bought this product as my computer is old and with the current RAM at 512Mb and the speed of the memory quite low, the computer was too slow to handle todays applications, even opening multiple tabs on firefox would freeze my pc so i decided my first upgrade would be my RAM.
I bought the 2Gb kit because i could always buy more if needed and it was reasonably priced plus i didnt think the slightly faster RAM was worth the money.
I am extremely happy with my purchase because the upgrade has definately improved the performance of my PC mainly with having multiple applications open at the same time or memory intensive applications but there has also been a slight increase in the timeit takes for windows to be ready to use after boot-up, the speed at which programs open and the performance of games.
This upgrade alone is obviously not going to give to extreme performance gains, but if like me all you want is to increase performance so that your PC can handle todays increasingly memory-hungry applications (I will be purchasing a new pc soon as my current PC has limited potential) then i would definatly recommend this to you.

After a conversation with Dell tech Support and there insistance I needed more memory I looked at a few web sites and reviews to get what I thought would be best suited for me. I found this with CRUCIAL it was half the price Dell wanted to charge and was just as good quality, I am not the most technically minded person but with the instructions given on the web it was so easy to fit. Straight away you noticed how much more able my computer was,SUPERB QUALITY
