my Dell had 1gb ram and was very slow when using multiple big applications like photoshop, it could get very frustrating and basically stopped you using anything at the same time.I am happy with the 2gb upgrade and and would recommend it to anyone with an older machine, for [£] its a no brainer [...].Don't be put off fitting it yourself, it really was a piece of pi55 and it meant I cleaned all the clag out of the PC.

The website made it very easy to identify what memory could be used, the instructions took the fear out of installing the memory (and it was unbelievably easy for a non practical bloke like me), and it made my computer work properly again. I then ordered more memory for two other computers in the house also with impressive results (everyone had stopped using one computer because it was unbearably slow). It was very high gain very low pain.
