I only had 500MB installed in my Laptop, but a scan by Crucial let me know I could upgrade to 2GB. They recommended the memory to use as well. Having installed the memory, my Laptop now flies along. I used to think the slowness of the Internet was down to my Broadband speed and now I know it was memory resource. A VERY worthwhile purchase.

Pity I had to upgrade an already huge memory at great expense just so my HP NC 6000 laptop can cope with the grossly inefficient software the likes of Microsoft see fit to spew out these days, but as long as the 'sheeple' keep tolerating resource wasting operating systems and apps, I supposed I'll have to keep spending on my computer to keep up. Still, it works - even if it did cost me the best part of [$] just to have a computer that can once again cope without taking ten minutes to boot up. C:-))

The reception has been excellent from my data. The reservation list for space in the memory has never been longer - and all successful data leave overwhelmed from their stay. I'd buy more but the premises is small and good waiting apps are hard to find.
